'Ground Hog Day 2017'

groundhog day is a day where the groundhog emerges out of its burrow on February 2. If it is cloudy it is a sign that spring will arrive early this year. If it is sunny the groundhog will see its shadow and burrow back down we will have cold winter weather for six more weeks.there are early mourning celebrations to watch the groundhog emerge from the ground.

Punxsutawney Phil's prediction is that the groundhog would see his shadow and we will have six more months.

Wiarton Willie's prediction was the groundhog did not see his shadow and that we would have an early spring.
